The Challenge for this week on I Heart Faces was "Barefoot" and I knew exactly what I wanted to capture. While this appears to be a photo of my daughter's foot with her toenails all painted and her tutu around her waist, it is so much more than that. My daughter was diagnosed with Spina Bifida when I was 18 weeks into my pregnancy and seeing her walk was definitely something I never thought I'd see. Now she is 18 months old and walking everywhere and we couldn't be more blessed!
